We are often so resistant to the idea of rest. But in a society where citizens are intentionally ground down in order to maintain the status quo, rest can be associated with laziness. If we are going to use this moment as a starting point for real and radical change in our society then rest, whatever that means to you, is not only internally transformative but a necessary tool in our revolution.
